Why Camp?

Ask almost anyone who grew up in Young Life when faith became real for them, and many point to the same place: camp. For one week, away from everything that defines them back home, kids are known, celebrated, and told the truth — that they were made on purpose, by a God who loves them. For many, it's the best week of their lives.

The Need

But every year, the same hard reality keeps some kids home: their family can't cover the cost. The Camp Fund changes that. It provides camperships — simply put, camp scholarships — that cover what stands between a kid and camp, from the registration fee to the $200 it can cost just to get them there on the bus.

A Gift to Leaders

The Camp Fund is also a gift to our leaders. Across Central Indiana, area leaders do the hard, faithful work of building relationships with kids all year long — and there are few harder moments than fundraising alongside students so they have the opportunity to hear the Good News. . The Camp Fund hands them one more way to say yes.
